"Welcome to the East District. What a pleasure it is for me to represent this diverse and inclusive quadrant of our city. The variety of the East District is remarkable and provides so many faces of the Rochester we love. Over the past four years, I have been honored to play a role in the energetic life of our city. And while we have seen growth in our businesses and neighborhoods, our work is not done. It would be my privilege to continue to serve as your representative; I ask for your vote and support in my re-election."
Elaine Spaull is a native Rochesterian who has lived in the East District for over 30 years. Throughout her life as an educator and lawyer, she's worked to make this community better, culminating with her current work as the Executive Director of The Center for Youth together with four years on City Council: the past two as Vice-President. Elaine will continue to bring commitment and leadership to the job of representing the residents and businesses of the East District.
